ViJull allows users to host virtual candlelight vigils, offering a non-violent way to show support, pay respects, and create a lasting tribute for the deceased, regardless of time passed. It's an open platform available 24/7/ 365 days a year, where people can share condolences and memorials through audio tributes. As a tragic events tech company, ViJull aims to bring empathy and light to the grieving process, offering a space for those who can't attend in person to connect.
Vijull was originally inspired by Carla Sneekes, Dano Drummond, Darren Quilloy and Mr. B-Kerpi. All of these people I knew that died in 2023 within a matter of weeks and months from each other. I badly wanted to attend the funerals, but I couldn't afford flights to where the funerals were being held. I was in debt and just had a baby. I figured there has to be a better way if traveling costs were barriers to saying good bye to people you know and love. The idea for Vijull was dedicated in their honor. Since the first line of code was written I had expanded the dedication to every one that died in 2023 by the end of start of 2024. I have since expanded this dedication to everyone that has already passed and to everyone that will pass. This is for you, your colleagues, your families, your friends, and while we are at it, your pets.
Vijull is what the world needed and we are happy to serve you. To the 4 people's family and friends I mentioned above. May you find peace and know they have left an impact in this world.
Forever grateful,
Patrick Cooper
